Friends Home offers independent living, supportive independent living, personal care and skilled nursing care. Experienced staff members are available 24/7, and a registered nurse is on hand to supervise all medical care.
Activities are regularly scheduled throughout the week, including gardening, glee clubs, cooking groups, card games, and walking clubs. In addition, residents regularly plan excursions to area attractions such as restaurants, local shops, concerts, plays, and Longwood Gardens. The local Historical Society provides tours of colonial homes, and the Friends Home has a wrap around porch that is often the hub of community life.
While the Friends Home is affiliated with the Quakers, it is non-sectarian. Spirituality is important to many residents, and religious services are regularly hosted throughout each week.
