The Philadelphia Protestant Home

The Philadelphia Protestant Home is a U.S. News and World Report award-winning nonprofit retirement community located in northeast Philadelphia with over 125 years of experience. Residents rave about the wide range of activities available and the first class dining options at the bistro and restaurant.

There are studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments available, with each floor plan offering spacious closets and a balcony or patio to enjoy in warmer weather. Housecleaning, laundry services, and maintenance are included with apartments, and the cost of electric utilities is covered as well.

Meals are served at the main restaurant, Main at Martins Mill, while a cafe and Scoops offer casual ways to enjoy a meal or a snack. There are spacious lounges throughout the facilities, and a Fountain Room hosts special events for larger groups. Tabor Market provides an on-site grocery store.

In addition to Independent Living, there also is Personal Care, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care or other Senior Living services for all residents. Long and short term rehabilitation are available as well.

The facilities also include a state of the art work out room, fitness class spaces, and aquatic center, where residents can enjoy personal workout routines or take classes from instructors. Regular ongoing education classes, social events, and group activities ensure that residents are always learning and meeting new people.
